The Royal Sonesta

We’ve reserved a room block at the Royal Sonesta in Isla Verde, just minutes from the airport, our welcome party, and the wedding shuttle pickup. While it’s a convenient and beautiful option, we understand it may not be the right fit for everyone. There are plenty of nearby hotels and Airbnb/VRBO options at a range of price points in Isla Verde, Carolina, and San Juan. We’ve included a few alternatives below to help you find what works best.

There are also many hotel and Airbnb / VRBO options within a short, walkable distance of the Royal Sonesta and throughout San Juan’s beach neighborhoods. If you plan to use the hotel shuttle, we recommend staying in Isla Verde, Carolina, or San Juan so you can easily meet at the Royal Sonesta. Although we only have a hotel block at the Royal Sonesta, we’ve included some other nearby hotels below.
Shuttle service from the hotel
We’ll provide round-trip shuttle service between the Royal Sonesta and Hacienda Siesta Alegre. The venue is in a rural mountain area where rideshares are limited — the shuttle is the easiest way.
Shuttle sign-up details will be shared closer to the wedding. Free on-site parking is also available.
